I set up a branded account for my newMedia Mike name part of branding myself on all of the social media sites, and when I decided I was sick of the spam and crap I tried to delete the account. I went through the offical motions and nothing happened. It took me 12 emails to customer service to get hem to delete my account. So good luck trying to do a mass deletion in one day! I wonder if MySpace will make any sort of announcement about it or if they will just go quietly. While I doubt they'll see too much of a decline in one day, I think they need to respond to this sort of stuff in order to try to reverse the downward spiral. That said, I may participate. I don't really like the service and certainly don't like the constant spam. This definitely seems to be gaining steam.
